Photo Gallery of Flowers

Days to maturity are approximates and may be more or less depending on a number of environmental conditions. Colors of blooms may vary.

Calendula, Orange

The calendula is a highly prolific and hardy plant, ideal for brightening up edges and dull spots. Plants grow to around 10-12" and produce beautiful bright orange blooms all summer. Snip seed heads to encourage continuous blooming. Approx. 55 days.

Gallardia, Arizona Sun

This is by far my favorite type of Gallardia.Plants are compact and bushy with broad, fuzzy leaves. Plants are quite a sight in the summer when they are covered with bright orange and red blooms, reminiscent of an Arizona sunset. Blooms are long-lasting, giving a spectacular show for weeks to come. Snipping seed heads will encourage further blooming. Approx. 80 days.

Gallardia, Yellow

This is what I'd consider to be the classic Gallardia. Plants have more of a sprawling habit than the Arizona Sun with narrow leaves. Bright yellow blooms with a red center are produced on tall stalks. Excellent cutting flower. Regular cutting and removal of seed heads will encourage continuous blooming throughout the summer. Approx. 70 days.

Geranium, Pink

The Geranium, also known as the 'Crane Bill' due to the shape of the seed heads is a tender and beautiful perennial. Plants are compact and prolific, ideal for anywhere that needs a bit of extra color. Remove seed heads to encourage continuous blooming. Approx. late summer or next year.

Geranium, Red

The Geranium, also known as the 'Crane Bill' due to the shape of the seed heads is a tender and beautiful perennial. Plants are compact and prolific, ideal for anywhere that needs a bit of extra color. Remove seed heads to encourage continuous blooming. Approx. late summer or next year.

Marigold, African Orange

Unlike its French cousin, the African Marigold can reach heights of up to 3' with massive blooms to match. Plants are quite prolific, becoming densly covered with large bright orange blooms. Remove old blooms to encrourage continuous flowering all summer long. Approx. 65 days.

Marigold, French Orange

The classic Marigold. Plants grow 8-10" in height and extremely bushy, becoming covered in brilliant orange blooms in the summer. Remove old blooms to encourage continuous flowering right up to the first frost. Approx. 55 days.

Silver Dollar

Cold-hardy plants are annual or biennial depending on whether they bloom in the first or second year. Plant in a suuny area with rich soil to get blooms in the first year. Plants grow quite tall, 4' or more and well branched. Plants give a spectacular show when in full bloom, covered in tiny purple blooms. The seed pods, which develop shortly after, are what give the plant its name, the Silver Dollar. Approx. 80 days.

Snapdragon

Another personal favorite of mine since Snapdragons come in some many different colors! Compact plants produce long flowering stalks covered with small brilliantly colored blooms. Approx. 60 days.

Russell's Mix Lupine

The Lupine is hardy perennial plant. Plants become bushy in the Spring and produce tall flowering stalks in the summer, similar to Snapdragon, but much larger. Be aware that Lupines are aphid-magnets. Approx. late summer or next year.
